Piano and Brass Music Lessons

Welcome to the S.V. Moore Studio of Music located in downtown Walled Lake Michigan. I have an award winning studio that offers piano and/or brass conservatory music instruction for the serious student.

About your teacher:

My name is Susan V. Moore. I am a degreed teacher in piano, brass (specialty trumpet) and music theory. I have been teaching piano and all brass instruments for many years. I opened up my first independent studio in downtown Detroit in 1965 and have been producing award winning students ever since.

Being a member of the Michigan Federation of Music Clubs and the National Guild of Piano teachers gives my students a chance to have their progression evaluated by independent judges.

I developed my own program throughout the years which gives my students a solid foundation which has resulted in many State and National Awards. Many of my students go on to make music their career.

I teach beginning through advanced students so no matter where you are in music we can go from there.

If you are serious about wanting to learn how to perform on either piano or any of the brass instruments I have a few openings.

Lessons are either 1/2 hr. for beginners with less then 1 year of instruction, or 1 hr.for the student who wishes to advance faster or the more advanced student.

A honors recital is held once a year. Awards won during the year are presented at this time.
